Storage & Warehousing facilities

Eastate Commodities Pty Ltd has facilities for up to 40,000 tonnes of grain at Elmore in Northern Victoria. Elmore is 2 hours North of Melbourne and is well situated within the grain growing areas of Central and Northern Victoria.

Eastate Commodities Pty Ltd has another storage facility at Echuca/Moama which is situated on the Murray River (the state border between NSW & Victoria) 2.5 hours North of Melbourne.
Eastate Commodities Pty Ltd Head office is also situated in Echuca.

Echuca, Moama & Elmore is well situated to purchase and store grain from the grain growing areas of the Riverina and Southern NSW, Murray Valley (NSW & Victoria), North East and North Western Victoria. All varieties of cereal grains, oil seeds and pulses are grown in these areas.

Close to Echuca there are a number of large storage facilities.
A number of these facilities are located within 100 kilometres of Echuca and a 20,000 tonne, fully aerated facility is within 10 kilometres of Echuca.

Quality & Administration

All grain delivered to Eastate contracted private storages and Eastate Commodities Pty Ltd storage sites, is tested for quality and specifications prior to being accepted into segregated storage.

After testing, the trucks are then weighed and all documentation is raised to reflect which grower the grain has come from, who the buyer is and at what price has been agreed upon.

Eastate Commodities Pty Ltd has a full length, 80 tonne “B” double rated weighbridge.
